4. Academic Qualification : For the post of Post Graduate Teachers (PGTs), candidate must have done 2 Year Integrated Post Graduate M.Sc. from Regional NCERT College of Education in the concerned subject with minimum 50% marks. Qualification such as B.Ed. or equivalent is also necessary. Candidate should be proficient in Hindi and English teaching
For the post of Trained Graduate Teachers (TGTs), candidates must possess 4years integrated degree course from Regional NCERT College of Education in the concerned subject with minimum 50% marks. B.Ed. or equivalent degree is also needed
Teaching Ability of English and Hindi/related Regional language . Candidate must have qualified Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) which was held by CBSE
5. Age Limit : Candidate applying for the post of Post Graduate Teachers (PGTs) should be below 40 years of age on 31st Jan 2014. Candidates applying for Trained Graduate Teachers (TGTs) should be below 35 years of age on 31st Jan 2014.
6. Application Fees : Rs.560/- must be paid by the candidates as application fee in cash by Bank Challan in the Union Bank of India. Reserved candidates need not pay any fees
7. Process of selection : Candidates will be selected based on their performance in written test and Interview.

- Log on to the official Website of Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti that is www.navodaya.nic.in.
- Click on "Filling up of online application form for recruitment of PGTS & TGTS - 2014” present on the recruitment section.
- Fill all the details carefully by entering all necessary info
- Scan you signature and latest photograph and attach this with application form online.
- Note down the Login id and password which is generated after the submission of application
- Now take a printout of Fees Payment Challan and pay application fee as given above in the “Application Fee” section.
- Get the counterfoil with Branch Name & Code Number, Transaction ID/Journal No and Date of Deposit & Amount from the branch of bank.
- Visit the Official Website again and enter the payment info using your Login id and password.
- Original Counterfoil with call letter should be submitted during the written examination.
- Finally take a printout of the application form and paste your latest photo and send it to the Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti’s address or any other address.
Registration opens from 01st February 2014
Deposition of fee starts from 01st February 2014
Registration process ends on 28th February 2014
Fee must be paid before 01st March 2014
Submission of applications will be closed on 03rd March 2014
Admit Card can be downloaded from 31st March 2014
Written Exam will be held on 27th April 2014
