LIC Exam Syllabus DSE AAO Recruitment 2013 : 1. LIC Exam Syllabus 2013 - Every year huge number of candidates appear for this LIC exam 2013. All of them should go through the syllabus of Written test and procedure of LIC DSE and AAO Recruitment 2013 initially.

2. Life Insurance Company (LIC) invites candidates from various parts of the country to fill up  various vacancies in Direct Sales Executive (DSE) and AAO posts at different areas such as Kolkata, Bhopal, Kanpur, Patna, Chennai, Hyderabad and Mumbai.

4. Selection Procedure - Selection of a candidate will be done based on two rounds. First one will be the written test where a candidate must appear for the objective type written test. All the candidates who have cleared this test will be called for face-to-face interview.

6. Written Exam Syllabus - Written exam consists of questions from following topics


General Aptitude, Reasoning ability and mental aptitude questions can be seen in this section.
Verbal : Number Series, Test of Direction Sense,  Number Ranking, Problem on Age Calculation, Analogy, Decision Making, blood relations etc.
Non Verbal  - Non Verbal Series, Cubes and Dice, Embedded Figures,  Grouping Identical Figures etc.


Numerical Ability - This section is included to test the quantitative skills of a person. Various topics that come under this section are Number System, LCM, Simplification, HCF, Decimal Fractions,  Unitary Method, Percentage, Ratio and Proportions, Time and Distance, Time and Work, Profit and Loss, Average, Mensuration (2D and 3D), Algebra, SI and CI, Data Interpretation etc.

General Knowledge and Awareness - Apart from aptitude skills, candidates must be aware of the things happening around them. Current Affairs (National and International), Budget and Five Year Plans, Who is Who,  Major Financial/Economic News,Sports, Books and Authors, Awards and Honors, Abbreviations, Important Days, Science - Inventions and Discoveries, International and National Organisations are a few topics that can be found in this section.


The paper also consists of English Language section where questions based on English grammar and vocabulary will be asked. Along with this a descriptive which includes essay, comprehension and precise writing in english will be included.


7. Interview Procedure - All the candidates who are shortlisted after the end of written exam will be called for last round i.e, elimination/selection round (Interview) for DSE in LIC.
