B.Ed Distance Notification Osmania 2011-12 Entrance Test Scheme:Admissions, Osmania University, Directorate of, Hyderabad, B.Ed. Admission notification for the 2011-12 school year, announced that the program should be offered through distance education mode. OU B.Ed. Must conduct an entrance test for admission to this program is a small list of NCTE (Teacher Education National Council) approval, and that the B.Ed. The approval of the Andhra Pradesh government or private schools are eligible for appointment as teachers. Applicants must have Bachelor's Degree in any discipline or subject.All the candidates must have at least 2 years of teaching experience in any recognized school in Osmania University local area. Following are details of eligibility and application procedure:
Interested candidates can download Application form and ICR sheet along with Information Brochure from the website www.osmania.ac.in/admissions. The filled in application forms and ICR sheet along with a DD for Rs.1000/- towards registration fee and drawn in favour of The Director, Directorate of Admissions, Osmania University, payable at Hyderabad, should be sent to the Director, Directorate of Admissions, Near University Press, Osmania University, Hyderabad- 500 007. Last date for the receipt of completed applications is 13-01-2012.

Scheme of B.Ed. Entrance Test (Distance Mode) : The common entrance test for B.Ed. Distance mode will be of objective type with 100 multiple choice questions. Duration of the test is 90 minutes. The question paper consists of three sections as described below:
1) Part – A : General English : 20 marks
2) Part – B : 1) General Knowledge : 10 marks, 2) Teaching aptitude : 10marks
These papers are common for all the candidates irrespective of all methodologies.
3) Part – C: Methodology : Candidates have to choose one of the following subjects. Methodology paper consists of 60 questions for 60 marks. The papers offered are:
1) Mathematics : 60 marks
2) Physical Sciences : 60 marks ( Physics : 30 marks and Chemistry : 30 marks)
3) Biological Sciences : 60 marks ( Botany : 30 marks and Zoology : 30 marks)
4) Social Studies : 60 marks ( Geography: 20 marks, History: 20 marks Civics: 10 marks and Economics: 10 marks).
B.Ed. (Distance Mode) course fee is Rs. 20,000/- for all the candidates including BC/ SC/ ST Candidates. Fee should be paid at the time of admission.
