AP Maritime Universit Inter Syllabus Changes y in Vizag 2011-12
1) Visakhapatnam in Andhra Pradesh government plans to set up the first Maritime University. Currently, it is also the headquarters of the Maritime University, which has been operating from Chennai. Visakhapatnam to establish a new center at the National Ship Design and Research Centre (NSDRC) is the name. Maritime University, every thing goes well with the central government and the DGCA may be functioning from 2013-14 academic year.
2) The four member empowered committee formed by the Government of Andhra Pradesh to look into the changes to be made in the Intermediate syllabus has recommended the Government to amend intermediate curriculum in line with the NCERT syllabus. The committee has also recommended to consider the requirements and standards in the state before amending Intermediate syllabus. There is a wide spread feeling among the experts and parents that the Intermediate syllabus should be reformed to meet the standards of national level entrance exams such as NEET and IIT JEE.
3) Principal, ITI, Mallepalli (Hyderabad) has announced that the short term training programme under Rajiv Yuva Kiranalu (RYK) will be organized by the institute at it's Executive Training Center located in the campus. The training will be imparted in Chemical and Computers subjects. Candidates who have passed in 10th Class and Intermediate can attend the training classes. Interested candidates can contact at 90529 47786. Interviews will be conducted on Thursday.
