Engineering Common Entrance Test for Diploma Holders (ECET 2011) will be held on the 20th of May. ECET 2011 notification was released on the 16th of February. ECET test date was finalized by APSCHE. Kukatpally (JNTUH) - ECET 2011 conducted by the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University. For the second year of graduate engineering and academic year 2011-12 in all the private engineering and pharmacy colleges of pharmacy courses in the ECET , conducted by the rankings. This lateral entry / entrance system and all of the colleges is 10 percent of the seats reserved for candidates of the Diploma. Diploma holders, B.Sc. Candidates with (Math) degree are eligible for ECET. 50 percent of candidates for the qualifying examination marks (45 per cent reserved for the candidates) have to be secured.
ECET 2011 to qualify for the counseling of candidates eligible to get into their rankings based on the following courses:
1. In the second year B.E. / B. Tech. (Regular) courses
2. The first year B.E. / B. Tech. University Engineering Colleges
3. All universities and unaided private colleges in the second year of B. Pharmacy (regular) courses.
Eligibility requirements: Candidates with Diploma in the following engineering disciplines are eligible to apply for ECET:
1. Computer Engineering
2. Power
3. Bio-Medical Engineering (including Special Diploma)
4. Mechanical (the automobile, the printing technology, packaging technology and Foot Ware Technology branches)
5. Civil Engineering
6. Electronics and Communication. (TV and sound technology to study the Diploma candidates who also apply)
7. Chemical (Sugar Technology / Textile Technology / Technology / Technology, including leather and ceramic)
8. Mining and Metallurgical
9. Electronics and Instrumentation (including Special Diploma)
10. Pharmacy
11. With Math, B.Sc., graduates.
Application Procedure: Candidates interested in any of the following branches of Andhra Bank application forms can be obtained from:

ECET Important dates for:
1. 21st February 11: For the start of the applications.
2. 8th April 2011: applications received (without any late fees) for the last date.
3. The last date for receiving filled in applications (Rs.500 / with a late fee -): 18th April 11.
4. Last date of submission of applications (Rs.1000 / with a late fee -): 27th April 11.
5. Last date for applications (Rs.5000 / with a late fee -): The 9th of May 11. (This facility is only available at the convener of the authority).
