UPSC CPF Assistant Commandant Syllabus 2014 | UPSC AC Exam Pattern : 1. Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) conducts written examination at specified exam centers. For the recruitment of various posts in BSF, CRPF, CIST and ITBP, UPSC Central Armed Police Force conducts Assistant Commandant test.

2. All the candidates who are interested and eligible can apply online and download the admit card. UPSC AC admit card is available on the official website www.upsc.gov.in or www.upsconline.nic.in .
3. Exam Syllabus, Pattern/Scheme
1) Written Examination consists of two papers.
Paper-I
General Ability and Intelligence: 250 marks
Syllabus: Paper-II consists of questions from General Mental ability, Current Events of National and International Importance, General Science, Indian Policy and Economy, History of India, Indian and world geography.

4. Pattern/Scheme: All the questions of this section are objective (multiple answers) type which will be English as well as in Hindi. Exam will be held from 10 AM to 12 Noon, i.e, for 3 hours.
5. Paper-II
General Studies, Essay and Comprehension: 200 marks
In paper-II candidates are given a choice to write the essay composition either in English or Hindi, but the medium of précis writing, Comprehension components and other communication/language skills. Exam will be held from 2 PM to 5 PM, i.e, duration of test is 3 hours.

4) Final Selection/Merit: Based on marks secured by the candidate in written examination and interview/personality test, selection of candidate will be done.
5. Download UPSC Assistant Commandant Admit Card 2014 using below procedure
- Visit the official website http://www.upsc.gov.in
- Under whats new section, click on view e-admit card for UPSC Assistant Commandant
- Enter Registration ID/Roll No/By Name
- Select Date of Birth
- Enter the security code that is displayed on screen
- Press submit button
- Your admit card will be displayed with the details of Exam centre, Time etc
- Download and take a printout of it
