Types of tests conducted in AFCAT 2014
In order to test candidate's skill set in various fields, Intelligence test, psychological test, a group discussion and medical test are held.
Syllabus for intelligent test in AFCAT 2014
AFCAT comprises of questions from four topics such as
General Awareness - In order to test candidate's knowledge on the current topics such as history, sports, science, defence, economics, etc.
Verbal Ability in English - Error detection, synonyms, antonyms, word-meanings, comprehensions are asked in this section to test the skills of English language.
Numerical ability - Mathematical questions of 12th class standard such as numerical fractions, average, interest rate etc will be asked in this section.
Reasoning and Military Aptitude Test - In order to test candidate's Spatial abilities and verbal skills this test is conducted. This AFCAT exam will be separately held for 2 hours duration separately for males and females. The paper comprises of 100 questions each question carrying 3 marks. 1 mark will be deducted for every wrong answer.
